Punit Nehra from Pilani, Jhunjhunu, has been awarded the title of Mr. Rajasthan 2026 in Season 5, with the tremendous finale happening on September 13 at Hotel Trade International, located on Ajmer Road, Jaipur. The finale was the conclusion of a three-day pageant, making the contestants compete in a large number of segments so their presentation, communication, fitness, and individual skills could be evaluated.

Infinity Takeovers Production House organised the event, which was led by Show Director Anup Choudhary. The pageant coordinators claim that the auditions for season 5 saw the participation of about 3,000 young men from all parts of Rajasthan while just 33 contestants reached the finals. After much deliberation, the final contestants made their way to Jaipur.

Punit Nehra Won Title Mr. Rajasthan 2026

After competing for three days and going through various rounds, Nehra emerged as the winner. His selection was based on contestants’ performance in multiple areas like skills, fitness, style, and communication.

The competition consisted of several rounds: Talent, Fitness, Question & Answer, Self Styling, Swimwear, Professional Shoots, Walk, Trunk, and Traditional. Thus, contestants were evaluated on a number of different aspects comprising various rounds, rather than only being judged on their performance on stage.

The victory puts Punit Nehra in the position to take advantage of the new stage of the contest. The organisers have noted that the title opens up a world of possibilities for contenders in modelling and showbiz.

Shailesh Joshi As First Runner-Up

While the grand finale winner is Shailesh Joshi of Jodhpur, the title of First Runner-Up goes to Shankar Meena of Jaipur. Jitendra Choudhary of Nagaur has accepted the position of Second Runner-Up, while the Fourth Runner-Up title has been awarded to Jaipur’s Mehant Kumar. Across the four districts of Rajasthan, all five of the participants in the final round represented the entire state.

From Pilani to the Pageant Stage

Punit Nehra is also a social media creator and influencer who maintains accounts on major platforms. He regularly posts content about motivational topics, daily routines and personal stories, aimed precisely at imparting positive messages to younger generations.

Being a digital content creator lays the foundation for his further journey. He is one of those numerous aspiring artists who followed the trends of respectable digital influencers and began creating different kinds of content and attracting a wider audience. In Nehra’s case, he can now boast of the title of Mr Rajasthan in addition to his successful social media presence.

Anup Choudhary On Creating Platform For Young Talent

According to Show Director Anup Choudhary, events like Mr. Rajasthan provide an opportunity for young men in Rajasthan to showcase their talent and individuality, something he says is currently lacking.

Anup Choudhary explained that Mr. Rajasthan was established to help fill this gap and provide the young men with a platform to express their talents. He emphasised that it is much more than a title contest and its goal is to help young men find direction in their lives. Meanwhile, the fifth season also proves that the competition has transformed into an annual event rather than being held just once. According to the organising committee, participants will be able to gain insight into modelling and cinema, while the winners will most likely represent Rajasthan at national events as well.

What May The Title-Holder Expect Now?

After receiving the title of Season 5 winner, Punit Nehra is now moving to the next step in the world of modelling and content creation. The degree to which the award-winning title will be put to use will largely depend on developments in future endeavours.

At this point, the achievement of winning Mr. Rajasthan 2026 has vital significance in the life path of Mr. Jaipur, who hails from Pilani. The fact points to the growing significance of regional pageants and virtual platforms in enabling young people to discover new opportunities beyond the limits of their hometown.
