Bhai Tera Star Hai is a Hindi comedy-drama which is directed by Vivek Agrawal. The film features Raghav Juyal, Sanjay Kapoor, Vivaan Bhatena, Niharika NM, Barkha Singh, Tina Desai Vikalp Mehta and many more.  Despite confusions amongst the characters, the movie depicts how different stories intertwine into one by the end of the screenings. The main attractions of Bhai Tera Star Hai are its star cast, the plot of the movie, and light humor.

Storyline

The story is kicked off by Ajay (Raghav Juyal, a broke actor) who owes some money to a bar owner named Fatty (Sanjay Kapoor). When Ajay finds out he has to pay his loan off by midnight, he asks his girlfriend named Roshni (Niharika NM) to help him, only for her to invite his brother Sid (Vivaan Bhatena) to help Ajay. At the same time, Sid is trying to collect his debts, some of his debtors being his ex-girlfriend Natasha (Parvathy Omanakuttam) who is also Ajay’s sister.  As the movie moves on, more characters are appearing making the story more and more complicated until it is conveniently solved at the end.

Positive Points

The film has various positive aspects that cannot be ignored. Parvathy Omanakuttam has good on-screen presence and Sanjay Kapoor is charismatic enough in his role though he does not have much to offer in the film. The idea of having debts interlinking various key characters has its merits and could have worked with a better plot in place. 

Negative Points

The biggest negative aspect of the movie is its screenplay which tends to be excessive in explaining its ideas with too many visuals, unnecessary captions, and repetitive narration. The film is filled with ridiculous occurrences which makes one lose interest. Surprisingly, the film contains an impressive number of unrealistic scenes that do nothing to help create a sense of humor and build up characters by actors such as Raghav Juyal, Vivaan Bhatena, etc. Moreover, the overall editing and music presentation leave much to be desired, and many exciting speech parts do not help matters in any way. The film never seems to reach its peak.

Overall: Bhai Tera Star Hai is an impressive concept marred by poor writing and execution. While some of the acting is very good, the film is not successful in entertaining the audience. The poor writing, uninteresting performances, and dull directing make it into one of the year's worst comedy films.
